Favorites List
After filling our their Favorites Lists, the students worked with partners to get to know one another better. They also introduced their partners to the class.
Hula Hoop
Students worked together (community building) to get hula hoops around a joined circled as quickly as possible. It became very interesting the more hula hoops we added. Some skills the students discovered were important for this activity include: working together, no put downs, encouragement, patience, and paying attention.
What does a classroom of learning look like to you?
Student worked together to determine what they wanted their classroom to look like this year. We will use their wonderful ideas to develop our classroom rules.
